Civil Engineer | 21+ Years of Professional Fire Safety Drawing Experience
Hello, I'm Vikas Muluk, Founder of Evacuation Diagram Australia, a specialist brand operated by FirePlan.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our business.
I prepared my first evacuation diagram in 2005, and since then I have dedicated my career exclusively to fire safety drawings. Over the past two decades, I have worked with fire protection companies, fire safety consultants, emergency planning professionals, and businesses requiring accurate, compliant evacuation diagrams.
Today, with more than 21 years of professional industry experience, supported by 12 years of structured education in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drawing, and Technical Drafting, I lead a specialist team committed to delivering clear, reliable, and AS 3745:2010-compliant evacuation diagrams for clients throughout Australia.
For us, an evacuation diagram is far more than a drawing. It is a life-safety document that people may depend upon during an emergency. Every project is therefore prepared with precision, consistency, and careful attention to Australian Standards.
Education & Technical Foundation
My technical expertise is built upon twelve years of formal engineering and drafting education, providing a strong understanding of building design, construction principles, spatial planning, and technical documentation.
My qualifications include:
-
Architectural / Civil Draughtsmanship- 02 Years
-
Government-Recognised Vocational Certification (NCTVT)- 01 Years
-
Diploma in Civil Engineering - 03 Years
-
Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering- 02 Years
-
Bachelor In Civil Engineering - 04 Years
This educational foundation, combined with more than 21 years of practical industry experience, enables our team to prepare evacuation diagrams that are technically accurate, professionally presented, and designed in accordance with AS 3745:2010 – Planning for Emergencies in Facilities.
Founder-Led. Team-Driven.
While I remain personally involved in technical direction, quality assurance, compliance reviews, and project strategy, Evacuation Diagram Australia is supported by a dedicated team of experienced fire safety drawing specialists.
Every project follows structured workflows and detailed quality control procedures before delivery. This ensures our clients receive consistent quality, dependable turnaround times, and professional service on every project.
Whether we are preparing a single evacuation diagram or supporting ongoing, high-volume projects for Australian trade partners, our commitment to quality remains the same.

Since 2005, our goal has remained the same—to help Australian businesses improve emergency preparedness by delivering technically accurate, professionally prepared, and fully compliant evacuation diagrams.

A Personal Message
When I prepared my first evacuation diagram in 2005, I never imagined that our work would one day support thousands of projects across Australia and internationally.
Today, I remain committed to continuous learning, engineering excellence, and helping organisations protect people through clear and accurate fire safety documentation.
Together with my team, we continue to deliver every project with the same attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to quality that has guided our business from the very beginning.
"Every evacuation diagram we prepare has one purpose—to help people find the safest path to safety when every second matters."

Tanuja Vikas Muluk
Head of Design & Quality Assurance
Civil Engineer | 12+ Years of Professional Fire Safety Drawing Experience
Tanuja Vikas Muluk joined FirePlan in 2014 and has been an integral part of our technical leadership team ever since.
With more than 12 years of professional experience in fire safety drawings and evacuation diagrams, she leads our design operations, drawing coordination, quality assurance, and final project review process.
Every evacuation diagram prepared by our team is reviewed under her supervision before it is delivered to the client. Her attention to detail helps ensure that every drawing is technically accurate, professionally presented, and compliant with AS 3745:2010.
Three-Level Quality Review Process
Quality is one of the foundations of our business.
Before any evacuation diagram is delivered, it undergoes a structured three-stage quality review process to minimise errors and maintain a consistently high standard.
Stage 1 – Technical Drawing Review
Our technical drafting team verifies building layouts, emergency exits, fire safety equipment, symbols, and drawing accuracy.
Stage 2 – Quality Assurance Review
Under the supervision of Tanuja Muluk, every drawing is carefully checked for technical accuracy, compliance with AS 3745:2010, consistency, readability, and overall presentation.
Stage 3 – Final Client Review
The completed evacuation diagram is then submitted to the client for final verification and approval before installation or printing.
This structured review process significantly reduces revisions, improves accuracy, saves valuable project time, and helps our clients avoid unnecessary costs.
Our Quality Promise
We stand behind the quality of every evacuation diagram we prepare.
If, after working with us through the normal review and revision process, you are not completely satisfied with the final deliverable, we will work with you to resolve the issue. Our goal is to ensure every client receives a professional evacuation diagram that meets their expectations and Australian compliance requirements.
Your satisfaction, trust, and long-term partnership are always our highest priorities.
